Adjunct Professor

Dr. Carlos Casanova-Mateo received the B.S. degree in Physics from the Universidad de Valladolid (Spain) in 2000, and a Ph.D. degree in Applied Physics from the same institution in 2007. Currently, he is an adjunct professor at the Department of Computer Systems (Universidad Polit├ęcnica de Madrid, Spain). After working for Coritel, Iberia LAE, and Senasa he became State Meteorologist in 2011. His current interests deal with soft-computing techniques, hybrid algorithms, and neural networks in different applications of environmental science and applied engineering.
